Jack is a 10 year educator with over 10,000 hours of student mentorship experience. Starting his career in Texas public education, Jack became a civil service figurehead through CityYear, an AmeriCorps mentorship organization, and delivered the keynote speeches at 2 major industry conferences. And all of his students can analyze the clause structure of that last sentence!

Over the past 7 years, he dedicated his time to the SAT, ACT, and college admissions process. He's helped 8 students achieve perfect scores and helped propel record improvement of 12 points on the ACT and 440 on the SAT. With education changing, Jack sees a deeper opportunity to optimize the most influential aspect of education: self-discovery.

Championing the development of "eternal learners," Jack works to instill growth mindsets in all students, to find the joy in learning, and to take ownership of their own educational path. A native of Baltimore, MD, Jack grew up in Canada and Egypt, and he instructs students virtually from the UK, Russia, the Bahamas, and other great places. Yes, he was once chased by a mother camel, and yes, he appeared on MTV in 2017 for flute beatboxing.
